The Opportunity: The Operations Manager is a key contributor to Sentrex’s mission of delivering best-in-class patient support services. This role ensures operational excellence across programs by supporting training development, monitoring performance metrics, and driving cross-functional collaboration. The Operations Manager will also play a critical role in manufacturer and prescriber initiatives, PSP optimization, and reimbursement navigation to ensure patients receive timely access to therapy.
A Day in the Life (What you will do here): Training & Development
- Design and implement training programs for PSP teams, focusing on reimbursement processes, payer navigation, and compliance.
- Develop SOPs and learning modules to ensure consistent service delivery across programs.
Performance Monitoring
- Track KPIs such as case turnaround times, reimbursement approval rates, and patient onboarding timelines.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
Manufacturer & Prescriber Initiatives
- Support strategic partnerships with manufacturers and prescribers to align program objectives and contractual obligations.
- Coordinate initiatives that enhance prescriber engagement and streamline therapy access.
PSP & Reimbursement Navigation
- Oversee PSP workflows, ensuring adherence to program protocols and patient-centric service.
- Provide guidance on reimbursement navigation, including prior authorizations, appeals, and payer requirements.
- Collaborate with reimbursement specialists to resolve escalations and optimize approval timelines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Lead process improvement projects to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance efficiency.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy standards, and contractual obligations.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
What you need to ensure you are set up for success:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operations management within PSP or specialty pharmacy programs.
- Deep understanding of reimbursement processes, payer requirements, and navigation strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking and operational reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive process improvements.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards and patient privacy regulations.
