The Strategy & practice is currently seeking interns to join our Toronto team. Experiences and Skills You’ll Use to Solve: Join the Strategy & consulting team as an Intern and work with clients leading all stages of strategy consulting projects for a variety of industry clients across Canada. You’ll address complex challenges to define direction, reposition and transform companies. You support the development of delivery models and strategy execution plans to create value, growth and improve operational performance for our clients. As part of the Strategy & team, you will focus on our Capabilities Driven Strategy (CDS) and Fit for Growth platforms (FFG) to design and deliver winning strategies across all levels of a company and align organization capabilities for efficient, effective and focused use of resources.
Reporting to the Engagement Manager, you will:
- Work across a variety of industry clients with a focus on 4 segments EUMI (energy, utilities, mining, industrial manufacturing and automotive), Financial Services, TMT/CM (telecommunications, media, technology, consumer markets) and Government and Health
- Demonstrate proven analytical thinking for analyzing and solving our clients’ toughest problems accurately and quickly
- Identify creative and useful additional analyses required and suggest new paradigms for recommendations
- Develop & manage efficient and realistic work plans, demonstrating sensitivity to the client’s agenda, perspectives and culture
- Have excellent quantitative as well as qualitative analytical skills and ability to derive insights from data and research
- Demonstrate ambition to build client capabilities and relationships with lasting impact
- Demonstrate creativity, curiosity and a willingness to question the status quo
- Work effectively with limited supervision

What you bring to this role:
- Enrolled in second or third year of the following post-secondary programs: Business or Engineering
- Demonstrated intellectual ability and achievements
- A commercial mind with an ability to challenge
- Capacity to think pragmatically about strategic issues
- Ability to present ideas and information at Board level
- An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
- A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas
- Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills; an ability to think broadly and to ask questions about data, facts and other information to deliver quality to our clients
- Share and collaborate effectively with others, building relationships which are genuine and rooted in trust
- Ability to easily adapt and prioritize, demonstrating project management skills to handle changing priorities
- Examples of alignment with PwC Values: Acting with Integrity, Working Together, Care, Reimagine the Possible and Make a Difference
- Comfortable travelling to cities across Canada, when required
- This role requires that you are legally entitled to work for PwC in Canada for the intended duration of the offer/contract.
- We'd love it even more if you’re bilingual in English and French, however this isn't a requirement.
