About the role

Project: Fraser River tunnel - eight-lane immersed river tunnel . This eight-lane immersed tube tunnel will replace the existing George Massey tunnel on Highway 99

Role: We are looking for a Procurement Manager to oversee and contribute to the procurement activities, supply chain operations, staff management and supplier relationships for the Fraser River Tunnel project, in coordination with BYCN's procurement network.

Responsibilities:
Procurement strategy : Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive terms while maintaining quality standards. Manage high values contracts for materials, equipment, and services required for projects. Assist the project Procurement Director in setting up process and procurement tools.

Supplier management : Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with agreements, timelines, and quality expectations. Develop cooperation with JV partners procurement networks.

Supply Chain : Developing strategic and tactical plans for supply chain resources to support current and forecasted project demands Leveraging opportunities with peers to mitigate market risk and deliver project-wide efficiencies.

Profile: 10+ years of experience in construction procurement. Ideally with experience in huge construction projects in JVs. Proven experience in cross cultural environment and capacity to collaborate. Strong and proven negotiation, analytical, and management skills.
