**Hours:**35 hours per week
Compensation Range:$95,000 - $105,000 per year
Overview
As the IT Manager at Homestead, you will have primary responsibility for overseeing IT Systems Support and IT Analyst staff, coordinating technology projects, and implementing systems and processes to optimize performance and compliance throughout the organization. You will work closely with the VP – Information Systems and Technology and the IT Network Analyst to develop and execute strategic plans for technology implementation, innovation, and cyber-security protection. This role requires periodic travel across the Homestead portfolio to deploy technology assets and ensure existing systems are operating effectively. This individual will work closely with various senior personnel and department heads to advance critical initiatives that seek to achieve Homestead’s business objectives.
Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

Manage the IT Helpdesk team and IT analysts by providing guidance and performance oversight. Supervise the assignment of tasks and determine priorities to ensure timely and effective resolution of helpdesk tickets. Foster a collaborative, service-oriented culture.

Oversee resource planning to ensure appropriate hardware and software are available to support IT staff in deploying equipment and implementing IT initiatives.

Coordinate with VP- Information Systems and Technology and the IT Network Analyst on complex challenges and matters pertaining to our internal IT systems and network. Assist where required using technical expertise and team resources.

IT Project Management and Implementations

Responsible for day-to-day management of IT projects, initiatives and implementations as assigned by the VP – Information Systems and Technology.

Responsible for direct Project Management of complex IT initiatives in conjunction with the IT Network Analyst.
Operational and Technical Responsibilities

Provide Helpdesk escalation support for complex technical issues to ensure timely resolution of user problems or building system outages.

Coordinate with the IT Network Analyst on both the maintenance and improvement of our network, servers, and cloud infrastructure, with a specific focus on back-ups and disaster recovery.

Ensure cyber-security measures are continually improving and are aligned with recommended industry standards. Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure protection of data and systems.

Oversee software deployment, patch management updates, and license management.

Assist the VP – Information Systems and Technology with setting IT operating budgets and developing vendor relationships.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- 3+ years managing professional staff, consultants, and/or external contractors.
- Experience managing networks and implementing IT initiatives.
- CISSP is an asset.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure.
- Effective communicator who takes initiative and engages others.
- Strong administrative skills and experience with budgeting and controlling costs.
- Proven ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable privacy and security best practices.
- Possesses a valid Ontario driver’s license, class “G” and use of a personal vehicle for travel to sites periodically.
