Compensation

$55,700 - $104,600

Purpose

This role will provide analytical insights to measure pricing strategies based on customer, item, regional performance. They will work cross-functionally to gather required inputs to report on price setting decisions, and own performance analytics and insights to drive profitability improvements. This role will require ability to synthesize and communicate results, recommend a course of actions, as well as implement the solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform weekly pricing strategy review and determine recommended adjustments to pricing strategies based on underperforming metrics
  • Recommend pricing lever changes and analyze impacts to profitability, volume forecast, and customer basket
  • Conduct performance analytics and generate insights to identify improvement opportunities
  • Ensure data integrity and configuration accuracy in performance reporting
  • Work with cross-functional team to collect inputs and design requirements to problem solve or develop pricing recommendations
  • Complies with Sysco's Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
  • Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
  • Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Three (3+) years of analytical experience with knowledge in SQL
  • Experience in price modeling and model configurations
  • Completion of post-secondary education in Business Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance or similar field required
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Comfortable in Virtual and Physical settings. Strong written and verbal communication skills across diverse levels (sales associate to customer to ELT)
  • English primary. French preferred as a second language.

Objectif

Responsabilités

  • Effectuer une revue hebdomadaire de la stratégie de tarification et déterminer les ajustements recommandés en fonction des indicateurs de rendement insuffisants
  • Recommander des modifications aux leviers de tarification et analyser les impacts sur la rentabilité, les prévisions de volume et le panier client
  • Réaliser des analyses de performance et générer des insights afin d'identifier des occasions d'amélioration
  • Assurer l'intégrité des données et l'exactitude des configurations dans les rapports de performance
  • Collaborer avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour recueillir les informations nécessaires et définir les exigences afin de résoudre des problèmes ou formuler des recommandations de prix
  • Se conformer à la politique et aux procédures de Sysco en matière de salubrité alimentaire afin de garantir le respect des exigences de sécurité, de qualité et de conformité légale
  • Être disposé à travailler en toute sécurité, en minimisant l'impact environnemental, et comprendre l'importance de signaler immédiatement à son superviseur tout danger, incident ou déversement environnemental
  • Comprendre l'importance de son rôle dans sa propre sécurité et celle de ses collègues, et être prêt à intervenir lorsqu'un risque est présent
  • Accomplir toute autre tâche assignée

Qualifications

  • Trois (3+) années d'expérience en analyse, avec connaissance du SQL
  • Expérience en modélisation de prix et en configuration de modèles
  • Diplôme postsecondaire en gestion des affaires, commerce, économie, finance ou domaine similaire requis
  • Maîtrise avancée de Microsoft Office, incluant Excel, Word, PowerPoint et Outlook
  • À l'aise dans des environnements virtuels et physiques. Excellentes aptitudes en communication écrite et verbale auprès de divers interlocuteurs (du représentant des ventes au client, jusqu'à l'équipe de direction)
  • L'anglais est requis. Le français est un atout comme deuxième langue.
