Director, Enterprise Architecture
About the role
The Director of Enterprise Architecture is responsible for defining and governing the organization’s technology architecture strategy to ensure alignment with business objectives. This role leads the development of architecture frameworks, standards, and roadmaps, enabling scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions across all platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain enterprise architecture principles, standards, and governance processes.
- Develop architecture roadmaps supporting digital transformation and modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with business and technology leaders to align architecture with strategic priorities.
- Oversee solution design reviews to ensure compliance with architecture guidelines.
- Manage architecture repository and documentation for transparency and reuse.
- Drive innovation through evaluation of emerging technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications in Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF, ArchiMate) are highly desirable.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are strongly preferred.
- Minimum 10 years in IT architecture roles, including at least 5 years in leadership positions.
- Proven experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), integration patterns, and security architecture.
- Track record of delivering architecture strategies in complex, regulated environments.
- Demonstrated strategic leadership and ability to influence at executive level.
- Proven ability to empower teams and foster a culture of collaboration.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
Expected salary range is $150 000.00 to $175 000.00 per year.
