The Brand commercialization manager will lead commercialization efforts for the Call It Spring brand. The candidate will play a pivotal role in growing store traffic and conversion while portraying and driving the brand by leading the team responsible for the development, production & optimization of Call It Spring in-store brand experience. They will support the definition of the brand calendar, promotional strategy, manage the execution and the analysis of stores and promotion performance. The person will also play a key role within cross-functional initiatives collaborating with the e-Commerce team and the wider marketing team. The Brand Commercialization Manager will report to the Director, Brand & Commercialization.
Define the commercialization strategy and plan
- Collaborate with Call It Spring teams to build commercialization strategy
- Drive testing, reporting and performance analysis of brand activations, promotion performance as well as industry trends; develop recommendations accordingly (e.g., traffic drivers, promotional strategy and timing)
- Lead compilation of detailed project post mortems, reviewing key learning and process gaps
- Maintain thorough understanding of industry trends and competition in brick-and-mortar marketing
- Analyze existing processes and define best practices for future improvements
- Manage departmental budget & invoices
Develop and manage store activations to maximize traffic and conversion
- Define and manage store marketing calendar
- Develop & oversee execution of brand activations strategies based on brand stories, promotions & events
- Oversee all material print productions (in-store signage, GWP, etc.) & store communications
- Manage and optimize the brick-and-mortar locations, including campaign refreshes and Sales & Operations
- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising & Buying team to define products commercialization strategies based on regional segmentation
- Collaborate with Real Estate & Store Planning for store openings & renovations
- Partner with Ecom & Brand team to optimize the cross-channel consumer journey
- Work closely with Brand team to build content that will optimize commercialization
Manage, develop and grow a high performance team
- Infuse team with analytical & workflow efficiency mindset
- Act as a mentor and coach to the Visual Merchandising & Brand Commercialization team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce or administration with a specialization in marketing
- Over 5 years of experience in a professional environment, including more than 2 years in leadership roles and managing retail brand activations within brick-and-mortar environment
- Proven leadership capabilities and strong analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
- Flexible and able to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Extremely organized & detail-oriented
- Autonomous, proactive, with the ability to take initiative
- Very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
