Job Description As a Jr. Software Developer , you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and enhancing NSP's Automation Product Suite, including Workflow and Intent Manager and Service Fulfillment . These cutting-edge applications are integral to the success of the Network Services Platform (NSP) , both now and in the future. Your contributions will drive automation, streamline network operations, and ensure the efficient delivery of next-generation network services..
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn This role will involve working with PLM, professional services, and other R&D teams to take NSP to the next level in Network Automation. We are looking for a Software Developer to design, develop, and enhance automation solutions for NSP’s automation framework portfolio.
- Researching and evaluating technologies to include in the product
- Collaborating with Product Management to refine customers’ requirements
- Designing, implementing, and testing NSP features
- Working in a team-based Agile environment
- Automating everything!
Key Skills And Experience Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge) Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience : Recently graduated (or about to graduate) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with academic or internship experience contributing to software projects.
Technical Skills :
- Exposure to programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go through coursework, projects, or internships.
- Basic knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ideally some familiarity with frameworks like ReactJS.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and fundamental design principles.
- Interest in learning about network management concepts, including protocols and modeling standards such as REST, RESTCONF, and YANG.
- Familiarity with testing practices, with some experience writing unit tests or using test frameworks in school or personal projects, and a willingness to grow skills in test automation.
Soft Skills :
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities to effectively work across diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
