Parts Manager, Southern Alberta
About the role
As a Parts Manager in Southern Alberta, you’ll lead the branch parts function, ensuring seamless support to service operations while driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and a superior customer experience. You’ll oversee inventory, parts processes, and team performance while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Location: Calgary, AB
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 annually
What You’ll Do
- Lead and coach the parts team, driving engagement, accountability, and high performance.
- Oversee all parts operations, including inventory management, warehousing, parts processes (5S), and branch equipment purchasing.
- Monitor and analyze work order systems and financial performance, including P&L, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Collaborate with Service and Operations teams to align inventory with service needs and resolve parts issues promptly.
- Identify, document, and improve work processes to maximize efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and company policies while supporting the Region’s Quality Management System.
What You Bring
- Journeyperson Parts certification or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years leadership/coaching experience in the heavy equipment or industrial industry.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Knowledge of parts distribution, inventory management, and mechanical trade repair processes.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
