Responsibilities
- Perform dialogue mixing for a documentary, ensuring clarity and consistency throughout the project
- Apply advanced noise reduction and audio restoration techniques as needed
- Collaborate with the project owner to understand creative intent and deliver mixes that align with the documentary’s narrative
- Prepare and deliver final audio files in the required formats by the agreed deadline
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to audio quality or file delivery
Skills And Requirements
- Proven experience in dialogue mixing for documentaries or similar long-form content
- Proficiency with industry-standard audio software such as Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, or similar DAWs
- Strong understanding of audio post-production workflows, including noise reduction, EQ, compression, and mastering
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering professional-quality audio
- Availability to complete the project by February
- No on-site presence required; must have access to a professional mixing environment
