Rush Truck Centres of Canada is part of Rush Enterprises, the largest commercial vehicle dealership group in North America. Reporting to the Parts Manger, you will be supporting the Parts department by providing efficient administrative support for our operational side of the business.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
- Place required emergency and critical orders.
- Follow-up on critical orders.
- Invoice Sub Contractor purchases from Navistar.
- Manage schedules: Parts Returns, Core Returns, Cash Sales.
- Manage account receivables, Fleet charge, IBS chargebacks
- Investigate shortages regarding shipped items and place claims
- Follow up on local vendor returns for credit return.
- SPA requests and claims.
- DIA bi-monthly returns, remove parts from system, reconcile credits – in coordination with key parts staff.
- Submit quarterly fleet SPA’s for fleet customers.
- Reconcile warranty discrepancies, investigate pricing issues.
- Update daily inventory counts within the system and explain variances.
- Check for ETA’s on the Navistar website.
- Support for stock and direct ship orders.
- Match packing slips and receiving reports to make sure that the part number, quantity and cost agree (investigate variances).
- Prepare bulk buy orders through Navistar.
- General organizational and administrative duties as directed by Management.
- Process special vendor invoices and create purchase orders
- Physical inventory/cycle counts; assist in preparation reports correcting in SAP.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time.
Basic Qualifications
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Post-secondary education; College or University Diploma/Degree is preferred.
- Knowledge of heavy trucks and refrigeration systems is an asset.
- Competency in the following areas: customer service, administrative skills, time management, proficiency with software and computers.
- SAP experience is an asset.
- Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
