Job Summary The Medical Sales Representative is responsible for managing and developing Aurora’s relationships within the medical cannabis channel, including medical clinics and other medical stakeholders such as healthcare practitioners, patient educators, and veteran support organizations. The role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clinic accounts and supports the growth and sustainability of Aurora’s medical business through relationship management, product education, and clinic engagement.
The position focuses on enabling clinic partners to effectively support patient access to Aurora products by providing education on the company’s product portfolio, facilitating communication on product availability and updates, and supporting clinic level initiatives that contribute to patient acquisition and retention. The Specialist works closely with clinic teams to understand operational workflows, patient demographics, and prescribing practices in order to tailor engagement and support.
This role also gathers and communicates insights from clinics related to patient needs, prescriber sentiment, product performance, and competitive activity. These insights support internal stakeholders in informing commercial planning, forecasting, and product strategy. As the Medical Sales Representative you will provide: Clinic Relationship Management and Growth
- Serve as the primary day to day contact for assigned medical clinics and medical channel partners.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clinic leadership, physicians, nurse practitioners, care coordinators, patient educators, and administrative staff.
- Understand clinic workflows, patient demographics, and operational challenges to tailor engagement strategies.
- Maintain regular touchpoints with clinics through scheduled visits, virtual meetings, and ongoing communication.
- Support clinic partners in achieving mutual growth objectives aligned with Aurora’s commercial strategy.
- Identify opportunities to expand Aurora’s presence within existing clinic networks.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in field sales, healthcare sales, pharmaceutical sales, clinic account management, or a patient facing commercial role.
- Demonstrated success building relationships within clinical, healthcare, or regulated environments.
- Experience delivering educational presentations or product training to healthcare professionals or clinic staff preferred.
- Experience working with CRM platforms and managing a defined sales territory.
- Experience in the cannabis, pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare industry is considered an asset.
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Fluency in French is required
