About the role

The Technology Support Technician is responsible for ensuring that the company's Information Technology infrastructure and processes operate in a manner that provides a high degree of performance, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Sustain a sufficient level of knowledge of operating system and application software to provide excellent support to users
  • Meet deadlines for workstation and printer Installations
  • Participate in relocating PC equipment to various locations and perform workstation-related setups
  • Ensure the security of equipment and supplies
  • Provide users with a fast, accurate, and secure method of gaining access to information that they require for working efficiently
  • Be an active participant to meetings, providing information and recommendations
  • Communicate effrectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

  • Persuing a Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject diploma or Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous experience in technical support, data center, Virtual Infrastructure Management, or related fields an asset
  • Must have a valid G2 or G licence and own transportation in order to travel to different Tigercat locations as required
