About the role
Sinai Health is looking for a Project Analyst, Digital Health at Mount Sinai Hospital. The Project Analyst is responsible for supporting small to large projects to successful completion following standard project discipline principles and processes. The Project Analyst is expected to attain an understanding of the project and the desired project objectives and support all aspects of the project lifecycle including the initiation, planning, controlling, executing and closing.
About This Team
The Project Management Office provides services to manage and support Information Management and Information Technology capital and operational project, program and portfolio work. The office utilizes project management processes, governance framework, industry best practices and tools in order to execute on project activities with the ultimate goal to deliver the desired business value proposition. Additionally, PMO services include mentoring, training, certification and networking opportunities for project managers and project analysts.
In This Role You Will
Support the preparation, implementation and monitoring of projects involved, including preparing documents, artifacts, reports, schedules, workflows/process mapping, presentations, etc. Work with internal customers and external partners as required to clearly document key project parameters including objectives, outcomes, scope and budget Ensure that peers within the Information Services Department, other hospital departments and service providers are kept abreast of projects that will impact their areas and resources Support the creation and execution of project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements Publish regular project updates to project team, sponsor and clinical and business stakeholders Assist with project documentation Support the preparation of presentations to project team, sponsor, stakeholders, committees and advisory groups Actively contribute to the development of the Project Management Office Work with internal customer to support the development of a business case for each initiative Support the development and evaluation of RFPs Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as required
Job Requirements
Mandatory
University degree in health science, health informatics, business or computing science 1 year of experience in information technology and/or health care
Skills and Knowledge
Proficiency in the use of MS suite of products
Demonstrated knowledge of standard project management tools, methodologies and frameworks, clinical and business systems and processes, business workflow, systems analysis and process redesign Demonstrated knowledge of Inpatient and Outpatient systems and processes Demonstrated knowledge of application programming and database Well-developed analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with internal team members, sponsors, stakeholders, external suppliers and business partners Demonstrated good presentation and communication skills Demonstrated outstanding customer service and relationship management skills Ability to work effectively in a fast paced multi-tasking environment Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history
