About the role

Job Summary

Bourgault Industries is looking for aSystems Administrator. The successful candidate would be responsible for providing foundational support for the IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security teams and plays a critical role in maintaining the day-to-day functionality of the IT environment.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and support Windows Server environments
  • Manage and support Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access controls
  • Maintain and monitor virtualization platforms and server hardware
  • Support backup, recovery, and storage systems to ensure data integrity and availability
  • Provide general network support including troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues
  • Perform enterprise-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis across infrastructure systems
  • Contribute to infrastructure projects, upgrades, and system implementations
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation and operational procedures
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support business and IT initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure operations
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Windows Server environments
    • Active Directory and Group Policy
    • Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
    • Server hardware and lifecycle management
    • Backup and storage solutions
    • Basic networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Wage Range

$26.56- $57.23 - Starting wage is dependent on experience.
