About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. We are seeking a motivated Summer Student Temp to support daily operations while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic industrial environment. This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 3 months.

What You'll Be Doing

Assist with day-to-day operational, maintenance, and production-related tasks. Support safety, housekeeping, and site organization initiatives. Perform inspections, data collection, and basic administrative duties as assigned. Collaborate with team members to help achieve operational goals and project deadlines. Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.

What Are We Looking For

Demonstrated commitment to safety and responsible work practices. Ability to learn quickly, follow instructions, and adapt to changing priorities. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Dependable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently when required. Ability to perform physical tasks and work in an industrial environment.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
