VDK Group Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Residential Garage Door Technician to join our growing team. This hands-on role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential garage doors, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. What You’ll Do

• Install, maintain, and repair residential garage doors, openers, and related hardware according to company standards
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and provide effective solutions
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
• Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly and professionally with clients
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all jobs
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
• Stay up to date with new products, tools, and techniques in the garage door industry

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a residential garage door technician or in a related mechanical/installation role
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Familiarity with garage door tools, hardware, and safety procedures
