Pari-Mutuel Administrative Assistant
Century Mile Racetrack and Casino – Edmonton, AB
Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and ready to bring your administrative skills to the fast-paced and exciting world of horse racing and gaming? Century Mile Racetrack and Casino is looking for a Pari-Mutuel Administrative Assistant to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our wagering network.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to the behind-the-scenes operations that keep live racing and wagering running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
As our Pari-Mutuel Administrative Assistant, you’ll:
- Provide administrative support for pari-mutuel wagering operations across Century Mile, Century Downs, and our Teletheatre network.
- Maintain accurate files, databases, and spreadsheets for wagering and site operations.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for OTB, live racing, and other wagering activities.
- Assist with data collection, invoicing, and settlements while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Partner with Corporate Accounting to meet reporting deadlines.
- Support policy and procedure development for wagering operations.
- Complete other duties and special projects as needed.
What We’re Looking For

Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

Experience managing and analyzing data in spreadsheets or databases.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.

Flexible availability – some extended hours and occasional travel may be required.

High School Diploma required; a combination of education and experience will be considered.

Knowledge of horse racing or pari-mutuel wagering is an asset but not required.
