Our team is focused on using data driven approaches to increase space productivity across the retail network. We are a team that is constantly evolving to better suit our associate dealers’ needs.

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis and delivery of store specific space recommendations
  • Create presentations and supporting documents to summarize analysis for key stakeholders
  • Work with Senior Analysts to maintain, update, and evolve processes that generate space optimization recommendations for stores
  • Assist in the development of productivity reports to drive sustainable improvements in in-store space utilization
  • Support Space Planning technology (JDA/AutoPOG) and manage the development of new capabilities
  • Evolve current workflows in Space Planning to drive operational efficiency and data accuracy

What you’ve done

  • Worked extensively with database, automation, and integration software (SQL, VBA, KNIME), as well as Power BI, to creatively tackle business objectives with data and analytics
  • Post-secondary education, ideally in Finance, Business Administration or Engineering
  • Working knowledge of standard desktop tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Analyzed store level performance and operational metrics at Canadian Tire is an asset
  • Work experience at a Canadian Tire store is an asset
  • Having an understanding of POGs, Floor Plans, and Seasonal Changeover is an asset
