What You’ll Be Doing

As a Business Consultant supporting the CORA Migration Project, you will drive data analysis and migration delivery, supporting the transition of client data and documents to a cloud-based solution.

You will work closely with Client Services, Technology, and Data teams to ensure data quality, compatibility, and alignment with Enterprise Data Governance standards.

You will also take ownership of defining business requirements for new reports and dashboards, translating business needs into scalable solutions leveraging API integrations, data models, and enterprise data platforms (e.g., Databricks). You will partner with Technology and Data Engineering teams to deliver reporting outputs that are accurate, auditable, and aligned with regulatory and operational requirements.

The role spans both pre‑ and post‑go‑live activities, with a strong focus on post‑implementation delivery, including resolving data gaps, stabilizing processes, and supporting operational readiness.

At CIBC, we enable the work environment that is most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement, where you’ll spend three days per week on-site and the remaining days working remotely.

  • Post-Implementation Delivery and Stabilization – Drive resolution of post-migration defects and data gaps, manage backlog, perform reconciliations, and support stabilization of onboarding, risk review, and reporting processes.
  • Change Management and Communication – Support communication, training, and stakeholder updates, escalate risks, and drive issue resolution.
  • Documentation – Prepare clear and concise project documentation, including remediation catalogues, procedures, and job aids.
