Field Attendant
We are looking for multiple Field Attendants for our Deer Lake site. Our ideal candidates will enjoy working outdoors in a seasonal role, operating machinery to harvest peat. This role requires the ability to work flexible hours depending on the weather. We have local housing available!
JOB SUMMARY:
- Responsible for harvesting peat in our fields at our Deer Lake site;
- Operate a tractor or a vacuum harvester;
- Responsible for general and preventive maintenance of the equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Driving experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to problem solve and trouble shoot;
- Results orientated, self-starter;
- Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision;
- Operating a tractor considered an asset;
- Prior field/ harvesting experience considered an asset.
