The Role, Your Impact
As a Food Processing Labourer, you play an essential role in the smooth operation of our poultry processing plant in Saint-Damase. Located approximately 20 minutes from Saint-Hyacinthe, our facility relies on your daily contribution to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of our production line.
More Specifically, You Will
Participate in various stages of poultry product processing, from receiving to product preparation. Handle, transport, weigh, prepare, and package products according to established quality standards. Work in different areas of the plant, including slaughtering, evisceration, cutting, and sanitation, to support production operations. Comply with quality, hygiene, food safety, and occupational health and safety standards while handling raw poultry products and working in a refrigerated environment (approximately -4°C).
Working Conditions
Schedule: Based on operational needs, including day and evening shifts. Starting Wage (Day Shift): $22.00/hour. Evening Premium: $1.50/hour.
Your Qualifications For The Role
Education: No specific education required. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training. Experience: No experience required. However, experience in manufacturing, the agri-food industry, or food processing is considered an asset. Skills: Reliability, punctuality, teamwork, and a willingness to learn. Language: Basic knowledge of French is required to understand health and safety instructions, work procedures, and operational communications necessary for the safe performance of duties.
