The Quality Control Manager of the project is under the authority of the Project Quality Manager. They are responsible for ensuring that all construction work is carried out according to the defined procedures and complies with regulatory requirements and the technical specifications of the Contract. They coordinate and plan inspections and tests on site and at the factory, in coordination with the Works Supervision Manager.They are responsible for developing, updating, and implementing the project's Inspection and Test Plans as well as the forms for Inspection and Test Reports (ITRs).The Quality Control Manager ensures that certificates of conformity are issued for each inspected structure.
What you will do

Reviews and analyzes execution documents (plans, calculations, contract, specifications, geotechnical and other studies, applicable standards).

Validates construction methods, work procedures, and key ITPs; updates planning forecasts for inspections and tests.

Conducts or coordinates factory audits with the Quality Manager or qualified third parties.
-
Coordinates with the Laboratory Manager and Site Supervisors for technician mobilization and test follow-up on-site and with suppliers.
-
Oversees administrative follow-up of independent laboratories via the Laboratory and Materials Manager.
-
Reviews quality records from suppliers and manufacturers.
-
Ensures issuance and follow-up of non-conformities by their team.
-
Coordinates with surveyors, site supervisors, and the construction team to establish quality control schedules.
-
Participates in coordination meetings with the construction team.
-
Resolves non-conformities identified during quality controls.
-
Prepares and ensures execution of Inspection and Test Reports (ITRs) by the site supervision team.
-
Oversees external controls performed by laboratories and ensures quality reporting of completed works.
-
Ensures proper functioning of measurement and control equipment.
-
Ensures that the Quality File documentation is detailed, complete, and properly archived for traceability.
-
Supports client interactions regarding on-site inspections and ITP compliance.
-
Coordinates and informs the client of hold points.
-
Leads the “quality control” process within the ISO 9001:2015 certification framework.

Proposes continuous improvement actions.

Prepares “Quality Notes” to raise awareness across the project on quality control and best practices.

Ensures proper distribution and/or posting of these notes.

This role could be for you if you have

Have a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the construction field and in quality control on construction projects.

Demonstrate strong organizational skills, with the ability to identify priorities and ensure deadlines are met.

Possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, ensuring clarity and quality in expression.

Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
-
Able to show initiative, exercise sound judgment, and act proactively.
