We’re looking for a Brand Specialist (permanent) to drive impactful marketing initiatives and elevate our brand presence! In this role, you’ll execute dynamic marketing programs across national, regional, and store-specific levels, bringing plans to life that align with our vision. You’ll also contribute valuable insights and recommendations to achieve department and corporate goals. What You’ll Do:
- Supports the execution of marketing communication programs (1-3 months out), including but not limited to Seasonal Shoots, Social (organic), Email Programming, Grand Openings, Digital, Brand Activations, and contests
- Day to day project lead for external Agencies of Record, vendors and the internal creative services department
- Prepares creative briefings for external agency or internal creative services department, coordinate creative process and review materials to ensure they maintain brand standards and deliver against program objectives
- Monitors competitive landscape, keeping up to date on latest developments in the advertising/marketing space, ensuring alignment with current industry trends and business needs
About You:
- Post-Secondary education in Marketing or Communications or equivalent job exposure preferred
- Minimum two (2) years of related experience from a disciplined advertising/marketing environment and a passion for retail marketing; photo shoot experience considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills with ability to implement and manage details, prioritize, time manage and multi-task with limited supervision and sometimes under time pressure; self-motivated, energetic, confident, and creative
- Strong interpersonal skills including conflict management, information gathering skills, team building skills to build collaborative working relationships
