We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Data Analytics Manager based out of our Rockyview County, AB (293029 James Jones Way #101, Balzac, AB) location.
A strategic and hands-on Data Analytics Manager will lead the Canadian data analytics team, driving excellence in data strategy, governance, and operational execution. This role will serve as the key bridge between business stakeholders and analytics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals for Source and Bolt. In this role, you will champion centralized data access, robust reporting tools, and a culture of data-driven decision-making. A strong focus will be placed on developing scalable models, dashboards, and analytics platforms, while maintaining compliance and data integrity across all systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead projects from initiation through close-out, including scope definition, scheduling, resourcing, cost tracking, and risk management
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Communicate project status, risks, changes, and milestones clearly and proactively to stakeholders
- Manage customer expectations while maintaining company standards for quality, safety, and profitability
- Escalate issues appropriately and drive timely resolution
- Track and manage project budgets, forecasts, and actuals
- Identify and manage scope changes, including documenting change requests and coordinating approvals
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure all work complies with company safety policies, customer site requirements, and regulatory standards
- Maintain focus on quality assurance and proper documentation throughout project lifecycle
- Lead or participate in post-project reviews to capture lessons learned
- Use and maintain project management tools such as schedules, trackers, and ERP/CRM systems
- Follow and contribute to standardized project management processes, SOPs, and templates
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, communication, and efficiency
- Support continuous improvement initiatives & other projects across the team
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-8 years of experience (or more) in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles, working in multi-entity, multi-region environments is a must.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field is required.
- Proven success in leading analytics teams and delivering strategic insights.
- Advanced/strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data platforms.
- Experience with data governance, compliance, and privacy standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to be self-disciplined in driving completion of tasks and daily activities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong Customer service (internal/external) is a key attribute.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position offers the flexibility to work on-site or a hybrid arrangement.
- Candidate must be ready & able to travel should it be a business necessity.
