About the role

Position Description We are looking for a Financial / Office Administrative Assistant to manage our day to day office tasks. The resource must have the ability to perform multiple administrative and financial tasks as well as some ad-hoc tasks that go beyond your day to day duties. You must be comfortable with interacting with clients directly and have a strong communication skills.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Various ad-hoc administrative tasks
  • Reconciling daily bank transactions.
  • Managing employee time sheets.
  • Generating and managing monthly customer invoices.
  • Maintaining organized filing structure of vendor invoices.
  • Monthly vendor statement reconciliation and invoice follow-ups.
  • Invoice review and entry into accounting system.
  • Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to participating in special projects, liaising with key stake holders or ad hoc analyses/projects as assigned.

Education

  • Post-Secondary Education in Accounting or Finance is considered an asset

Other Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of accounting practices, policies and procedures
  • Strong analytical and QuickBook online l skills (essential)
  • Excellent team player capable of working both independently and in team environment
  • Detail orientated and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated time management skills, ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • Can build positive working relationships both inside and outside of the finance team
  • Knowledge of SEO tools and concepts such as Google Analytics, Google Keyword Search Console would consider an asset
