As an experienced Project Administrator working in the Major Projects team at Pomerleau Construction, you will support new and ongoing project growth, challenging industry standards with your trade-driven expertise and knowledge. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will work closely with the project management team, various client groups and subtrades to ensure project excellence through your outstanding leadership, keen eye for detail and commitment to quality, and health and safety

Responsibilities

Processing of AP invoices including obtaining correct signatures, perform receiving in the SAP system and uploading approved invoice package to the A/P SharePoint for invoice payment.

Deal with supplier demands via email or telephone.

Perform and maintain organized documentation and filing electronically.

Match packing slips received from the field with purchase orders issued and invoices received.

Responding to Project Managers and vendors regarding inquiries such as payment status, etc.

Write work procedures and perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred. .
- Must possess 2+ years of office related experience with knowledge of accounts payable invoice processing in fast paced environment.
- Intermediate level of computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Experience using SAP is highly preferred.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be a team player, be able to work independently and prioritize workload.
- Must have strong work ethic.
- Adaptable to busy work schedule when required to meet deadlines.
