Value Stream and Digitalization Analyst

Salary:****$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
MTU Maintenance Canada is seeking a Value Stream & Digitalization Analyst to support the Engine Sales & Customer Support department. This role contributes to the continuous improvement of business processes through digitalization initiatives, value stream mapping, and data-driven analysis.
**Duration:**6 month Contract
Your Tasks:
Support the Engine Sales & Customer Support department with:
- Maintaining current in-house tools for improvement projects
- Support in digitalization for value stream mapping
- Being a liaison with the IT department
- Support process definition and optimization
- Creation and maintaining dashboards and visualization of KPIs
- General Support: Preparing presentations, compiling data for analysis, etc.
Our Requirements:
A 3rd for 4th year student of a degree in data analysis, I.T., industrial engineering with a strong interest in Aviation Industry. In addition, the following skills are preferred:
- Excellent Excel skills
- Understanding of Microsoft365 including Sharepoint and Teams
- Analytical skills
- Problem solving skills
- Experience with data processing systems
- Prior CO-OP or internship experience
- Strong communicator who can work well in a team
- Experience in development with Python, Databases (Postgres, Denodo), Git
- Interest in understanding CI/CD process.
- Knowledge in tools like Kubernetes, Argo CD, Rancher, Harbor, Jenkins with deployment Kubernetes Cluster or VM considered an asset.
- Python programming experience considered an asset.
- Previous work as a Data Engineer considered an asset
- Interest in the aviation industry
- Previous experience with SAP or RPA considered an asset

MTU Maintenance Canada Ltd. is an organization that is approved by the Federal Aviation Association (FAA), Transport Canada and other aviation authorities to inspect, maintain, repair, overhaul and test aircraft engines, modules, and components. MTU Canada is a North American member of the MTU Maintenance networks of companies, one of the largest provider of independent commercial engine services worldwide. The Canadian operations base serves in two locations in Delta and Richmond, British Columbia.
The Delta operations facility holds OEM technical data licenses required to maintain, repair and overhaul GE, IAE and CFMI engines: CF6-80, CFM56-2/3/7, F108, F138 and V2500 as well as a variety of other OEM licenses to perform MRO services on engine accessories for these and several other engine types. In 2022, MTU provided maintenance for V2500 and CF6-80 operators and owners and for the F108 and the F138 under USAF contracts.
