About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and growth-driven Sales & Growth Coordinator to play a key role in driving revenue across our media brands. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career professional who is eager to build hands-on experience in business development, lead generation, and media sales strategy.

Reporting to the Director of Client Solutions and working closely with the Sales Director of Custom Publishing, this person will take an active role in identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospective advertisers, generating new business opportunities and helping scale new sales programs. This role is not purely administrative, it’s a front-line growth position with meaningful impact on pipeline development and revenue expansion.

What You’ll Do in this Role:

Business Development and Lead Generation

  • Proactively research, identify, and qualify new advertiser and agency prospects aligned with priority categories and revenue goals
  • Build, segment, and maintain high-quality prospect lists to support outbound sales
  • Own top-of-funnel prospecting activity, including outbound email, LinkedIn outreach, and cold calling
  • Help generate qualified meetings and new business opportunities for the sales team
  • Track, measure, and optimize outreach activity, response rates, and meeting conversions
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity and market signals to surface new revenue opportunities
  • Develop target account strategies and contribute to category expansion initiatives

Sales Support and Revenue Programs

  • Work closely with the Director of Client Solutions and Sales Director of Custom Publishing to build and manage a healthy sales pipeline
  • Help identify whitespace opportunities within existing categories and emerging verticals
  • Support the creation and scaling of new revenue programs, sponsorship packages, and integrated sales offerings
  • Assist in developing outreach messaging, prospecting sequences, and sales collateral
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and ensure consistent tracking of all business development activity

Editorial Franchise Support

  • Source and qualify leads for key editorial franchises, including awards programs
  • Assist with outreach to prospective participating brands
  • Help maintain submission pipelines and prospect databases
  • Support growth initiatives tied to franchise revenue

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, media, ad tech, or a related revenue-driving role
  • Demonstrated interest in business development and new client acquisition
  • Familiarity with digital advertising, audience targeting, or data collaboration tools is a plus
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting (email, LinkedIn, cold calling)
  • Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Results-oriented mindset with a proactive, self-starter attitude
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms is an asset
