Your Impact:
Open Text is looking for an Principal Cutover Manager as part of the Release& Cutover Management team. We are currently building our team presence in Canada and this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of corporate transformation programs

As a Principal Cutover Manager, you will:

• Planning, management and execution of the deployment activities to deliver a smooth transition to live environment
• Collaborate with project managers, functional leads, technical teams, third-party vendors and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on cutover tasks.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with cutover activities, ensuring contingency plans are in place.
• Oversee the execution for mocks, dress rehearsal and cutover to production, in adherence to planned schedules.
• Provide clear and effective communication to stakeholders at all levels regarding cutover progress, risks, and issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation of cutover plans, procedures, and outcomes, including Lesson Learned

What you need to succeed:

• Proven experience in running complex multi functional cutover activities
• Strong experience in managing data migration and system cutover activities
• Ability to coordinate technical activities with technical and business teams within and outside the organization
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex cutover activities in large-scale SAP programs.
• Must be a team player, well organized and efficient with excellent judgment and decision-making skills and a CAN-DO attitude.
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment.
• Self-driven and proactive attitude to identify risks/issues and to mitigate/solve them.
• Cutover Management: 8 years+ (Required)
• Knowledge of SAP Products and SaaS products like Salesforce, Success Factors, Ariba, etc. (Required)
• Understanding of finance business processes (preferable)
