🚨 Hiring: Full Stack Developers — Multiple Contract Positions We are hiring experienced Full Stack Developers for a large public-sector digital transformation and service-modernization program. 👥 Multiple openings available 📍 Location: Primarily remote within Canada 🏢 Occasional meetings or work sessions may be required in Edmonton 📅 Expected Start: July–August 2026 ⏳ Duration: Initial 1-year contract with possible extensions of up to 24 months 📩 Application Deadline: July 13, 2026 The selected developers will work within cross-functional Agile product-delivery teams on service innovation, program review, legacy modernization, and the development of user-focused digital services. Key responsibilities: ✅ Participate in technical discovery, field research, and user interviews ✅ Prepare solution designs, technical diagrams, and documentation ✅ Develop, test, enhance, and maintain production applications ✅ Resolve functional and non-functional defects ✅ Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, service designers, and frontend teams ✅ Support deployment, release, and production launch activities ✅ Build reusable components and improve development practices ✅ Work across approximately two to three projects as required Mandatory qualifications: ✅ 5+ years of Full Stack Development experience on complex Agile software solutions ✅ 5+ years of collaborative source-control experience, particularly Git ✅ 3+ years of automated unit and integration testing experience ✅ 3+ years of experience with relational and alternative database technologies ✅ 3+ years of experience developing production applications using modern frameworks ✅ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an accepted equivalent Preferred experience: ➕ Legacy-system modernization ➕ CI/CD pipelines ➕ Software architecture and design patterns ➕ UX and human-centred service delivery ➕ Generative AI and agentic development tools ➕ Canadian public-sector projects Candidates must: 🔹 Be legally eligible to work from within Canada 🔹 Be comfortable attending occasional onsite meetings in Edmonton 🔹 Be able to provide their own equipment while working remotely 🔹 Be eligible to complete criminal-record and applicable security-clearance checks Interested candidates are encouraged to send me their updated resume through LinkedIn DM.
