What we offer
As a key member of the Operations Finance team, this role partners closely with leaders across Construction, Design Studio, Customer Care, Warranty, and Architecture to provide financial insights, analytical support, and decision-making tools that drive operational performance and business results.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain strong business partnerships with functional and departmental leaders, effectively translating financial information into actionable insights for non-financial audiences.
- Prepare and maintain operational dashboards and performance reports to support decision-making across all operational teams.
- Develop quarterly budget review packages, including variance analysis, key driver commentary, and presentation materials for senior management.
- Lead monthly variance analysis processes by identifying performance trends, investigating variances, and communicating findings to both divisional and corporate stakeholders.
- Design and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives, ensuring data integrity and actionable outputs.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes, establish best practices, and implement consistent standards across Canadian divisions.
- Draft formal memos and analyses outlining financial issues, implications, and recommendations for management consideration.
- Coordinate and assist in gathering required documentation for external audits and internal reviews.

- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Completed or actively pursuing a professional designation (CPA or CFA).
- 1–3 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or analytical role, preferably within an operational environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect operational activity to financial outcomes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate financial information into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across departments, including Construction, Design Studio, Customer Care, Warranty, and Architecture.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy in analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, and the highest level of professional ethics.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including functions, pivot tables, and modeling; strong aptitude for learning new financial systems and software tools.
Bonus Points
- Homebuilding and/or land development experience
- Experience with JD Edwards, OneStream, or PowerBI
