They can work autonomously but are also able to collaborate as part of a larger sales team. As a Group Benefit Account Executive Mid-Market (51+ life employer groups) the successful candidate will be accountable for:
Position Responsibilities:
- Expanding sales growth and advisory relationships in the Calgary large group benefits market.
- Collaborating with the Advisor and our Underwriting/Service teams to acquire new clients
- Driving retention by managing an In-force block of Mid-Market and Corporate clients
- Optimizing delivery of value-added products and services.
- Promoting Manulife Financial group insurance products and services.
Required Qualifications:
- Ideally, 5 years’ Group Benefits sales experience and CEBS - GBA Designation,
- Excellent communication skills, including proficiency at making and presenting presentations.
- Strong leadership, analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Valid driver ’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or a related field

Salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
