Location: 1 Queen Street East, Toronto, ON
Wage Range: $20.00 – $21.33/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Overview

As a Security Supervisor with Paladin Security, you’ll play a key leadership role overseeing daily security operations at a prestigious downtown Toronto site. You’ll be responsible for supervising a team of security guards, ensuring high standards of professionalism, and maintaining a safe environment for staff, tenants, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and training to team members
• Ensure standing orders and daily activities are completed as required for each shift
• Supervise and monitor guard performance across assigned areas
• Enforce Paladin Security and site-specific policies and procedures
• Plan and implement shift work schedules
• Ensure all site staff have completed required training and certifications
• Motivate and recognize strong staff performance; manage discipline where necessary
• Conduct attendance management and performance evaluations
• Perform security audits and inspections
• Document and investigate incidents, complaints, and security concerns
• Communicate any operational or personnel issues to the Client Service Manager
• Conduct interviews and assist with hiring processes alongside People & Culture
• Provide proactive and reactive patrols to maintain a secure environment

Requirements

• Valid Security License for the Province of Ontario
• First Aid & CPR Level C certification
• 1–2 years of experience as a Security Supervisor or Team Lead
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Code 494
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with high-volume tasks and client interaction

Nice to Have:

• Experience managing 20+ employees
• Experience conducting interviews and training staff
• Background in corporate or municipal security environments
