Job Description:
Reporting to the Aquatics Program Supervisor, the Assistant Lifeguard is responsible for assisting in the supervision and control of activities, safety standards, providing high quality customer service and cleanliness of the aquatic facility. The Assistant Lifeguard provides assistance in the instruction of swimming lessons.
Education, Experience & Requirements
Required Qualifications:

Must be a minimum of 15 years of age;

Must be current in the following qualifications: Bronze Cross (or higher), Standard First Aid with CPR C

Description de la tâche :
Sous la responsabilité du superviseur du programme aquatique, l’assistant sauveteur est chargé de contribuer à la supervision et au contrôle des activités, aux normes de sécurité, à la prestation d’un service à la clientèle de grande qualité ainsi qu’au maintien de la propreté des installations aquatiques. Le sauveteur adjoint apporte également son soutien à l’enseignement des cours de natation.
Formation, expérience et exigences
Qualifications requises :

Avoir au moins 15 ans;

Doit détenir les certifications à jour suivantes : Croix de bronze (ou niveau supérieur), Premiers soins et réanimation cardiorespiratoire;

Exigence en matière de vision : Les personnes candidates devront, à la discrétion de la Ville d’Iqaluit, confirmer une norme de vision d’au moins 20/25 corrigée.

Description de la tâche :
Sous la responsabilité du superviseur du programme aquatique, l’assistant sauveteur est chargé de contribuer à la supervision et au contrôle des activités, aux normes de sécurité, à la prestation d’un service à la clientèle de grande qualité ainsi qu’au maintien de la propreté des installations aquatiques. Le sauveteur adjoint apporte également son soutien à l’enseignement des cours de natation.
Formation, expérience et exigences
Qualifications requises :

Avoir au moins 15 ans;

Doit détenir les certifications à jour suivantes : Croix de bronze (ou niveau supérieur), Premiers soins et réanimation cardiorespiratoire;

Exigence en matière de vision : Les personnes candidates devront, à la discrétion de la Ville d’Iqaluit, confirmer une norme de vision d’au moins 20/25 corrigée.
Formation, compétences et connaissances souhaitées :

Avoir terminé sa 9e année ou être en voie de terminer;

Être en mesure de maintenir les certifications requises;

Iqaluit (/iˈkæluɪt/ ee-KAL-oo-it; Inuktitut syllabics: ᐃᖃᓗᐃᑦ [iqaluit] (meaning "place of many fish"); French: [i.ka.lu.it]) is the capital of the Canadian territory of Nunavut, its largest community, and its only city.
