Remote Community Outreach Assistant

The Role
- Coordinate outreach activities (virtual) such as workshops, education campaigns, community events, volunteer activities.
- Maintain and update outreach materials.
- Assist with managing and communicating with community partners, stakeholders, volunteers.
- Track metrics from outreach efforts (participation numbers, feedback, outcomes) and generate reports.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, setting up virtual meetings, contacting participants.
- Maintain databases of contacts, donors, volunteers, or partners.
- Help with follow-ups, reminders, and communications with community members.
Ideal Profile
- High school diploma or GED; some roles may prefer coursework or experience in communications, public relations, or social services.
- US and Canada applicants only. Must be authorized to work and based in the US or Canada.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable with remote work tools (email, video calls, shared documents).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment.
- Empathy, cultural sensitivity, ability to engage with diverse populations.
- Detail-oriented, able to follow instructions and provide accurate records.

About Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida (HPCNEF)
HPCNEF is the Northeast Florida region’s leading resource for healthcare utilization data, population health data, information on evidence-based best practices, and timely and unbiased health policy information. We are the local health council serving Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, St. Johns, and Volusia counties. HPCNEF has long-standing professional partnerships with various entities throughout the northeast Florida region and the state, including local health departments, hospitals, nursing homes, behavioral health facilities, health and social service non-profits, city and county government agencies, and colleges and universities.
