Job Summary
This is a part-time position at 0.20 FTE.
Participant-facing activities
- Eligibility screening using standardized questionnaires/checklists; document outcomes.
- Scheduling & visit coordination in alignment with clinic operations; book FAST-PD Clinic appointments for new patients and manage scheduling logistics.
- Consent administration under delegated authority and supervision; adhere to approved consent procedures.
- Administer standardized rating scales, questionnaires, and cognitive tests, record observations and results per protocol.
Serve as the main point of contact for the site regarding the FAST-PD Clinic program, providing patients and care partners with information on next steps, resources, and supports technical, clinical and data activities.
Data handling: perform data entry into clinic or program databases; complete quality checks; and support required reporting. Documentation: maintain program logs, tracking tools, and required documentation in accordance with privacy and data protection requirements.
Laboratory and Administrative Support
- Maintain documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collect, organize, and transmit required forms and evaluation materials (e.g., questionnaires, scales, consent forms) to Parkinson Canada and other designated stakeholders, as appropriate.
- Provide data summaries and manage supporting documents.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions
Team contribution & knowledge transfer
- Contribute to project planning discussions by providing operational input (e.g., visit logistics, materials readiness) under supervision.
- Participate in regular check-ins with other FAST-PD Local Research Coordinators and the Parkinson Canada FAST-PD Program Coordinator.
- Support the standardization of referral, intake, and triage processes across FAST-PD Clinic sites and provide feedback on workflow challenges and process improvements.
Consequence of Error/Judgement
Errors in following established procedures may compromise patient experience, data quality, clinic workflows, and program timelines, potentially affecting service deliver and compliance with privacy and consent guidelines. All unusual problems are referred to the supervisor.
Supervision Received
Works under general supervision; exercises judgment in organizing day-to-day work, sequencing tasks, and solving routine issues; escalates new/unusual problems. Follows well-defined guidelines and procedures; adheres strictly to protocol and SOPs; documents deviations and alerts the supervisor/Coordinator.

Minimum Qualifications
High school graduation, some additional training in a related field and a minimum two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline preferred.

- Certification in venipuncture and biosafety training is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
