About the role
**Role Proposition:**We are currently seeking a Guest Services Supervisor responsible for overseeing daily operations of our Guest Services and Ticketing Desks across all locations within Sun Peaks Resort. This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, customer service experience, and a willingness to learn. This role may involve working outdoors for short periods of time in varying weather conditions and require flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays. Compensation Information:$26.68 per hour
**Physical Requirement:**Light; work activities involve handling loads up to 10kg; predominantly in an indoor setting.

Skills you bring with you:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
- Outstanding computer skills: P.O.S. systems, Microsoft computer systems, electronic business systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly organized, accurate, and detail oriented.
- Proven track record in guest services and as a team player.
- Post secondary education; business administration or equivalent experience considered an asset.
- Outstanding interpersonal and motivational skills.
- Outstanding cash handling skills; sales transaction reconciliation, daily cash outs, etc.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of current WCB standards as related to the workplace.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Guest Services Manager to ensure there is effective planning and organization of Guest Services, East Village Centre, Activities Desk and Call Centre.
- Daily supervision of Guest Services, East Village Centre, Activities Desk, and Call Centre.
- Planning and updating seasonal RTP (POS system) products and development of systems as required with special attention to quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain quality standards of Guest Services and provide support and motivation for the Guest Services team members.
- Duties as required to ensure the successful operation of the department, including support of other departments and special promotions.
- Assist the Sun Peaks Resort Events team with all ticketing needs, volunteer coordination and representation at some events, possibly outside of standard operating hours.
- Monitor website live chat.
- Staff hiring, training, scheduling and fulfilling exceptions in Payworks.
- Performance evaluations for seasonal staff in accordance with SPRLLP policy.
- Assisting the Guest Services Manager with various refund requests and reports as required.
- Oversee organization of Lost and Found items.
- Active participation in SPR meetings and committees, as required.
- Daily approval of staff reciprocal letter requests.
- Conduct and contribute to weekly staff meetings.
