Join our dedicated maintenance team as a Maintenance Operations Clerk, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role with the opportunity to grow within Alstom.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and guiding a team of up to, but not limited to, five in the correct processing of paperwork
- Coordinate coverage on all shifts to include sick days, vacation and holidays
- Training newcomers in the process
- Investigations of work orders and SRs, ensuring they are correctly closed with dates and information.
- Support the management team with information need for any incidents of discreprancies.
- Book parts needed to be back ordered and follow-up, coordinate status from Purchasing and Materials.
- Generate repair work orders designated and unscheduled with corresponding forms attached.
- Monitor outstanding defects and advise Supervisor. Ensure all resolved defects are closed in the system for equipment inspections.
- Develop and update spreadsheets for various equipment replacement programs, modification programs, utilization and running time, and man hours spent per equipment event.
- Close all completed inspection and repair work orders validating labour and material charges. Ensure all inspections are processed on the same day.

Possess leadership & management skills

Grade 12 graduate

Knowledge of Maximo, SAP or any ERP application.

Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Able to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
