We’re looking for a Track Foreman who is ready to take charge of field operations and deliver successful projects through leadership, communication, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
What You’ll Do
As a Track Foreman, you’ll manage daily field operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and in alignment with company and customer expectations. You will:
Review contracts, plans, and documentation to ensure work aligns with current specifications and scope
Preplan work activities with the Superintendent and develop safety action plans
Manage daytoday project operations, ensuring labour, equipment, and materials are properly allocated
Lead crew performance and ensure compliance with all company policies and safety requirements
Conduct daily tailgate and crew briefings to review production, hazards, safety, and feedback
Model and enforce safe work practices and ensure proper PPE is available and used
Communicate regularly with the Superintendent, Project Manager, General Contractor, and clients
Coordinate with subcontractors to align work and objectives
Complete administrative tasks (production reports, timesheets, equipment logs, inspection reports, change orders, project file updates)
Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to crew members
Perform other related project-based or administrative duties as required
What You Bring
CROR and TIGS certification (current or previous — required)
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (non-GDL)
Strong leadership, supervisory, and communication skills
Ability to motivate and direct crews while maintaining high safety standards
OCS or CTC qualification is an asset
Important Notes
**Travel:**Frequent provincial travel, often for extended periods
**Weather:**Work performed outdoors in all weather conditions
**Fitness:**Due to physical demands, candidates must complete fitness testing as a condition of employment
