The Role

We're looking for a Senior Designer to help drive the craft across one of our most dynamic accounts — Uber. This is a versatile, hands-on role for a designer who's equally fluent in product and brand: someone who can scale a global design system one day, design an in-app experience the next, and art-direct an AI-assisted shoot the day after that. You'll own design execution across a broad scope — global design systems, product/in-app, CRM, social, AI shoots, and video — translating strategy and brand into work that's beautifully crafted, system-minded, and built to perform at global scale. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with creative leadership, copy, strategy, data, product, and account teams, and you'll set a high bar for craft that elevates everything around you.

What You'll Do

Global design systems — Build, maintain, and scale design systems and component libraries that keep Uber's work consistent, flexible, and on-brand across markets, platforms, and touchpoints. Design for reuse and for speed at global scale. Product & in-app design — Design in-app experiences, flows, and feature moments in close partnership with product and UX, balancing usability with brand expression. CRM & lifecycle — Design lifecycle and CRM creative across email, push, and in-app messaging — modular, personalized, and engineered to perform across large audiences. Social & content-native — Create social-first, platform-native design and content that's made to move in feed, not just adapted to it. AI shoots & generative imagery — Concept, art-direct, and produce AI-assisted and generative content — developing prompts, guiding generative output, and integrating it seamlessly with traditional production and brand systems. Video & motion — Design for video and motion across campaign and social, from storyboards and motion graphics through collaboration with editors and production partners. Craft & consistency — Exercise expert control over typography, layout, color, and visual quality, ensuring every deliverable meets a global brand's standard. Collaboration — Partner early and often with strategy, data, copy, product, and account so the work is grounded in insight and built to ship.

Who You Are

Experienced & versatile: 5+ years of design experience, ideally including agency and/or in-house work on a major brand, with a portfolio that shows range across product/digital and brand/marketing. Systems-minded: You've built or meaningfully contributed to design systems at scale, and you think in components, variables, and reuse — not just one-off layouts. Craft-obsessed: Exceptional fundamentals in typography, composition, color, and layout, with an eye for the detail that separates good from flawless. Platform proficient: Expert in Figma (component libraries, variables, auto-layout) and Adobe Creative Suite; motion tools (e.g., After Effects) a strong plus. Product-fluent: Comfortable designing in-app and digital product experiences and collaborating with product and UX partners. Forward-thinking: Fluent — or eager to become fluent — in AI and generative production tools, and thoughtful about how to use them to raise both quality and speed. Collaborative & organized: You thrive in a fast-paced, data-informed, integrated environment, manage multiple workstreams cleanly, and communicate seamlessly across disciplines.

Must Have

Fluency in Figma and Weave

Nice to Have

Experience designing for global brands across multiple markets. Depth in product/app design or design ops. Motion, 3D, or emerging-format design skills. Prompt craft and hands-on experience directing generative imagery. A point of view on how design systems and AI production can work together.
