We are currently looking for casual Bookings Coordinators to join our expanding outpatient clinics. This role provides coverage for same-day call-ins and prescheduled shifts, ensuring consistent staffing support during employee absences. Working collaboratively with other clinic teams, you’ll create a warm and welcoming experience scheduling and coordinating exams and procedures, providing clear pre-exam instructions, and answering inquiries. Bringing compassion and clarity to each patient interaction, you’ll help ensure remarkable care every visit.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide Remarkable Care: Accurately schedule diagnostic imaging appointments, explain pre-exam instructions, and address inquiries with empathy, ensuring patients feel informed and prepared for their visit.
  • Administrative Coordination: Respond to inbound inquiries, maintain an organized patient-ready environment, and assist with other related clerical tasks.
  • Support Patient Scheduling: Ensure a seamless booking experience accurately booking diagnostic imaging appointments.
  • Collaborate with Clinic Teams: Partner across departments to help deliver a seamless and thoughtful experience.
  • Improve Processes: Identify opportunities to improve workflows and patient experience.
  • Expand Expertise: Engage in ongoing professional development to refine existing skills and build new competencies.
  • Ensure Compliance: Follow privacy, confidentiality, safety, and other regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Diploma in Medical Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an asset
  • Scheduling Expertise: Demonstrated competency in booking and coordinating diagnostic imaging or other healthcare appointments accurately across multiple clinics.
  • Administrative Background: Experience greeting patients and completing check-ins, verifying documentation and maintaining accurate records.
  • Technology Proficiency: Skilled using electronic medical record and radiology information systems, and clinical software such as Netcare and QGenda, along with Microsoft Office.
  • A Compassionate Approach: A history of remarkable care, collaboration, adaptability, and flexibility.

Additional Information

  • Position Type: Casual on call.
  • Work Location: Team members may be scheduled to work from any Calgary-area clinic, including Okotoks. Reliable transportation is required.
  • Hours of Work: Team members are expected to be available for day shifts, with start times as early as 7:30 a.m. and end times by 7:30 p.m., Monday to Sunday.

Canada Diagnostic Centres (CDC) is a multi-modality diagnostic imaging provider committed to delivering Exceptional Patient Care in the medical imaging field.
