Role: Intelligent Automation Developer
Contract Length: 18 months (potential for extension) Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid)

This role sits at the intersection of automation, artificial intelligence, and enterprise technology, helping the business evolve from traditional robotic process automation (RPA) to intelligent, agentic automation solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes.
Your New Role
As an Intelligent Automation Developer, you will design, build, and support next-generation automation solutions that combine AI agents, workflow orchestration, enterprise integrations, and automation technologies. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to identify opportunities, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and deliver innovative automation capabilities that improve operational efficiency and decision-making. You will be involved in developing intelligent automations across multiple business functions, leveraging platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Power Platform, and other enterprise technologies. This role is ideal for someone who wants to move beyond deterministic workflow automation and help shape the future of AI-driven business processes.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Hands-on experience building AI agents and intelligent automation solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry Strong experience delivering automation solutions that go beyond traditional RPA and deterministic workflows Experience designing and implementing intelligent, end-to-end process automation involving AI, machine learning, decision-making, orchestration, and enterprise integrations Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps Strong ability to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions Experience integrating enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and cloud services Knowledge of AI agent concepts, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented solutions, human-in-the-loop processes, and intelligent decision automation Strong SQL and data management skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Nice to Have Experience with UiPath and enterprise automation platforms Exposure to AI-enabled document processing, workflow orchestration, and intelligent process automation tools Microsoft AI, Azure AI, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or related certifications Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and enterprise application support
