We are searching for a Sales Manager, Home Care Technology to join our Parkland at Home team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia .

Reporting to the Regional Director, the Technology Sales Manager bridges the gap between innovative technology solutions and the unique needs of clients receiving home care services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of home care technologies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for enhancing client experience through tailored tech solutions.

About The Opportunity

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to develop and implement strategic sales plans.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market reach and client base.
  • Execute proactive lead generation strategies including prospecting, educational sessions, and participation in community events.
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospects and track conversion metrics.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding available home care technologies.
  • Assess client needs through intake and discussion to recommend suitable technology solutions.
  • Provide hands-on support during installation and ensure proper functioning of technology.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources, including physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, and community-based organizations.
  • Track and manage referral pipelines to ensure consistent client intake and conversion.
  • Conduct client satisfaction surveys and use feedback to improve technology offerings, enhance service delivery and overall experience.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of current and emerging technologies in the home care sector.
  • Evaluate new market technologies and make strategic recommendations for adoption.
  • Collaborate with IT, clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and training programs.
  • Track and monitor sales performance and achievement of targets/goals.
  • Analyze data gathered through technology platforms to inform service delivery and innovation.
  • Report regularly on client feedback, sales metrics, and technology utilization.
  • Assist in the development and management of the technology budget.
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  • Additional related duties as required.

About You In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, information technology, Business Administration, Health Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within healthcare, home care, or technology services.
  • Strong understanding of home care services and related technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, vendor relationships, and operational oversight.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales strategy development, lead generation, and client relationship management.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, data analytics tools, and reporting software.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Familiarity with assistive technologies, remote monitoring systems, or smart home devices considered an asset
  • Background in marketing, community outreach, or educational programming considered an asset
