Carleton Condominium Corporation #527 (CCC527), located at 1440 Heron Road, Ottawa, Ontario, is seeking a diligent and reliable Part-Time Cleaner.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Building Superintendent, the Part-Time Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the building's common areas. Key duties include:

Routine cleaning of all common areas, including but not limited to lobbies, hallways, stairwells, laundry rooms, and designated amenity spaces.

Execution of cleaning tasks such as: Mopping, vacuuming, and carpet shampooing. Floor washing and polishing. Wiping and sanitizing surfaces, handrails, and fixtures. Cleaning glass and mirrors. Waste receptacle emptying.

Assisting with garbage, recycling, and composting bin management as required.

Reporting any observed maintenance deficiencies or issues to the Building Superintendent.

Adherence to all applicable legislation, including Health and Safety Standards, WHMIS, AODA, PIPEDA, and Human Rights policies.

Other cleaning-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements

Demonstrated experience in cleaning or custodial services, preferably within a residential or commercial building environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.

Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.

Effective communication skills.

Physical capability to perform duties involving bending, stooping, lifting up to 45 kg (100 lbs) safely, and standing for extended periods.

Reliable and punctual.
