The Project:
Metrolinx is delivering the largest subway expansion in Canadian history, featuring four major projects to enhance Toronto's transit: the Ontario Line, Scarborough Subway Extension, Eglinton Crosstown West Extension, and Yonge North Subway Extension. These projects aim to create a high-frequency, connected network, including significant tunneling and station construction, aimed at completion between 2030 and the early 2030s.
You'll Be Responsible For:
- Lead project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring timeframes, budgets, and risks are effectively managed.
- Champion Safety First, embedding Mace’s HSW framework and promoting wellbeing across all teams.
- Oversee client, consultant, and contractor collaboration, driving alignment and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Provide subject matter expertise, guiding teams and supporting broader Mace initiatives.
- Deliver programmes and staging plans, integrating design, procurement, and construction milestones.
- Embed digital innovation, sustainability, and net zero carbon goals into project strategies and outcomes.
You’ll Need To Have:
- Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE) or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive project management expertise in property or infrastructure.
- Strong commercial, financial, and stakeholder leadership skills.
- Knowledge of sustainability, risk management, and construction methodologies.
Note: The estimated salary for this position is 150,000 - 230,000 USD. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
