Property Installation Technician
About the role
Job Duties:
-
Read work orders, specifications and project requirements to determine installation procedures and material requirements.

Measure, mark and prepare installation locations in residential and commercial properties.

Install, replace and service doors, windows, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, appliances, fixtures and other prefabricated building products.

Install and assemble interior and exterior building components using hand and power tools in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.

Inspect installed products to ensure proper fit, operation, appearance and compliance with safety requirements.

Troubleshoot, adjust and repair installed products and components as required.

Remove and replace damaged or outdated fixtures, fittings and building products to improve property functionality and market readiness.

Operate, maintain and store tools and equipment safely while following company policies and workplace safety procedures.

Assist in planning installation projects, estimating material requirements and coordinating work schedules.

Provide guidance and training to team members on installation procedures, proper tool usage and safe work practices.

Complete installation reports, maintain service records and communicate project updates, deficiencies and recommendations to supervisors.

Support residential and commercial property improvement projects through the installation, servicing and replacement of building products and related components.
Language Requirement Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese (required) (to effectively communicate with a diverse client and tenant base)
Preferred Experience Background in facilities maintenance, construction support, or property management Experience leading or assisting small teams is an asset Familiarity with real estate processes, especially inspection-related repairs, is an advantage
