We are currently seekinga permanent, casual/part-time visual merchandiser with a vehicleto service stores in both the Moncton and Fredericton areas.

Job Description

Bloomworks Merchandising Inc.(formerly CMS) is a third party merchandising company in the live goods (plants) industry operating across Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes. We service several big box retailers by merchandising plants in their indoor and outdoor garden centres.

Job Summary:

• Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of the live goods in the local retail stores (both Moncton and Fredericton)
• Responsible for completing online reports (including pictures) through a free mobile app.
• Merchandisers are responsible for the visual display and integrity of our products as well as pricing and inventory management.

Specific Skills / Abilities:

• Physical work - able to lift 50 lbs
• Standing/Working for long periods of time
• Working outside in the elements
• Fast-paced environment; Tight deadlines; Repetitive tasks
• Handling, pulling and lifting heavy loads at times .
• This is a physically demanding job, and you must be physically capable of performing all duties as assigned.
• A friendly presence is required for the position as you will be expected to establish positive relationships with garden centre staff and customers.
• The ability to follow direction and have a keen eye for attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team

Qualification Requirements

• Personal vehicle to commute between locations
• Smart phone required, regular usage (email/phone/photos,etc.)
• Safety-toed shoes or boots required (steel or composite) for duration of shift
• Flexibility with work hours and to adapt to the needs of the business, including the willingness to work on weekends
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada

Hours: Part-Time, permanent role

• Normally weekday daytime hours
• Occasional evening and weekend work may be required during busy spring season

Who you are:

• Someone with garden centre or landscaping experience, seasonal retail or general labour experience.
• Have an interest in plants, flowers, trees, horticulture, landscape, arboriculture, retail, floral design, agriculture, environmental studies.
