Quantum Lifecycle Partners LP is the leading and largest vertically integrated IT Asset Disposition & Recycling processor in Canada. We are currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in North Bay, Ontario. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily operations and ensure team productivity through training and progressive coaching. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring shipment accuracy and timeliness to meet client Service Level Agreements, while upholding quality and safety standards. In this role, the successful candidate will generate regular reports, attend stakeholder meetings, and ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Act with limited supervision to oversee the productivity and performance of Warehouse team members; ensure compliance with and enforce Company policies and procedures.

Maintain balanced staffing by delegating tasks and reassigning Warehouse team members in response to shifting workloads, priorities; provide guidance and assistance to achieve production goals.

Train and monitor Warehouse team members on work procedures and safe work practices.

Support Team Leads in daily operations by identifying and addressing concerns, proactively managing employee challenges.

Maintain quality standards and a clean work environment free from safety hazards.

Manage employees, including participation in recruitment and progressive coaching activities.

Support Operations Manager in implementing business initiatives, meeting quality and productivity training goals.

Act as a liaison between the Warehouse production floor and office, ensure accurate reporting of Warehouse information to internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure all client production order shipments adhere to the stated delivery schedule, maintain client Service Level Agreements.

Oversee, verify, track, and reconcile outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and completeness of shipped materials; address and report discrepancies.

Receive incoming shipments and inspect for damages or defects in accordance with Company procedures including primary shipment inspection, documentation, and material control; notify relevant internal and external stakeholders, where appropriate.

Ensure applicable paperwork and customer documents are completed as required.

Track inventory and perform cycle counts; perform all related administrative duties.

Effectively manage dock times, following daily dock schedule to accommodate customer’s needs and demands and maintain appropriate records; ensure that all security measures are adhered to.

Communicate with relevant parties to ensure parts are appropriately routed within the warehouse (internal) or shipped to external locations.

Generate status reports and attend regular meetings with stakeholders to ensure that productivity and performance goals are met, reported accurately.

Assist in the resolution of problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials, and labour.

Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies through continuous improvement of processes and systems.
Security and Compliance
- Maintain confidentiality of all Customer, Supplier, and Company information.
- Ensure the use of / work with security measures, procedures, and devices as required.
- Participate in training as required and apply knowledge gained through training on the job.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business or Operations Management or relevant work experience preferred.
- Three (3) – five (5) years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Demonstrated familiarity with health, safety, and environmental and employment legislation required.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a team and goal-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to attain forklift certification, Transportation of Dangerous Goods Training, if not already held.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
