The Role
We are currently recruiting for experienced, reliable and hard-working Skilled / Leadhand Labourers to join our team civil projects for CNRL Horizon. Camp and flights from either Calgary and/or Edmonton provided. At OCL Group, we believe in doing the job right - that starts with the people on the ground. What We Offer
CLAC hourly wages Payday is every Friday Company contributed RRSP & Pension contributions Benefits after 300 hours Paid training 10% vacation and stat holiday pay on regular earnings OT at 1.5 after 8 hours per day What You Will Be Doing Complete tasks in line with OCL and industry standards, procedures and practices Assist skilled trades as required Operate basic hand and power tools safety and effectively Perform spotting and flagging duties when required Read and understand site-specific instructions prior to each shift Site cleaning and preparation Maintain a clean and organized work area / job site Participate in daily toolbox meetings Perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions Other duties as assigned What We Are Looking For Previous experience working as a Skilled Labourer on civil construction projects Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and hazard awareness Physically fit and capable of performing demanding manual labour (lifting up to 50lbs, bending, standing and working in various weather conditions) Ensure a safe team environment. Strong teamwork skills with a positive and reliable work ethic Strong communication skills. Ability to follow and understand instructions given. Must have reliable transportation, a valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract Must have the following safety tickets: WHMIS 2015, CSTS 2020 (or equivalent), H2S Alive is an asset Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
